Tenant Deposit

I am in the process to sue City property. Unnaceptable to forge a tenant signature just to make him forget the deposit . This is purely ***** and I am sure it is being done to everybody else outside there. Notice was given to city property on the 15th of Jan 2015. Thabang a city property employee advised I will not get my deposit since I am breaching a contract as my lease was auto renewed. I disagreed with the reasons that I was never informed about the auto renewal and its not on my contract. He then came back with renewal document which shows my name but it was not my signature nor my twin brother as a core applicant. I disagreed then he cancelled flat and logged a call for dispute which I am still waiting for the feedback. On the 28th of January I was told I am liable for R1700 since my lease was cancelled mid of January which was the 15th but I was not told the day a cancellation was made instead I even received a statement showing a full month rental for february. Today was doing some checks with the caretaker and the building manager, before we even start a longlist of charges were given. Things should have been done before I moved in. R5200 For painting? Forget the deposit
