**** OF A COMPANY
I signed a contract with City Property in February 2015 and the contract said should I wanna move out at any point I should give 20 days notice. I call them today to find out who I should email to and I'm told I will be charged cancellation fees equal to 11 month's rent even though I still give notice. WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THESE FEES WHEN I MOVED IN? WHERE IN MY CONTRACT IS THIS STATED COS I KNOW I WOULD HAVE NOT MOVED IN. SEEING OTHER COMPLAINTS HERE MAKES ME SEE THAT ON TOP OF THE CANCELLATION FEE I MAY LOSE MY DEPOSIT FOR NO GOOD REASON. Y'ALL BETTER GIVE ME BACK MY DEPOSIT AND TELL ME WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THE CANCELLATION FEE WHEN I MOVED IN OR WHERE IN MY CONTRACT I CAN FIND IT.

With regard to your complaint we would like to refer you to your lease agreement, clause 19 for further information regarding the termination of your lease. This lease was signed by yourself on 13 February 2015, acknowledging that you have read the terms and conditions and understood it.
If any of this was unclear at that time you were free to discuss it with the Leasing Agent who assisted you.
