Quick to take payment but slow to pay what’s due to you!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from City Property regarding my stay at The Hangar Apartments. I moved out of the property in December, and today it is already the 30th of January, yet I still have not received my deposit refund. Instead of clear communication or assistance, I am constantly being given the runaround. What makes this even more frustrating is that out of a R6,000 deposit, I am now being told I will only receive approximately R1,000 – R1,200 back. This is completely unreasonable. On top of that, I am being charged for a window that was allegedly broken by wind. I did not break any window, and I do not understand why I am being held financially responsible for damage that was clearly not caused by me. All I want is my rightful refund. I am not asking for anything extra — just what is due to me. My emails are being ignored and there has been no proper feedback or transparency regarding these deductions. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I would appreciate urgent resolution and payment of my deposit refund without any further delays

We sincerely apologise for the delay in processing your deposit refund. We understand the importance of receiving these funds timeously, and we regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused.

Please note that we are currently finalising the necessary internal checks and we have requested the Property Manager to provide you with an update/feedback on the ticket you have raised.
