Not giving out information to their tenets

My name is Nonhlanhla we were staying in one of their building from September 2012 till December 2015 me my fiance and my child .since we were going through some tough time financially we decided to terminate our lease because of affordability. We then submitted our notice on the 16 of November 2015 and we were advised to tick the where it was saying cancel the parking so then it will be cancelled. We were advised also that the recommended date to move out was the 2015/12/11 since we had to serve a 20 business days notice during that notice we were serving no one did bothered to communicate with us as tenets to informing us of what is going to happen till we moved out . On the 17th of December 2015 we than decided to call back city prop to find out about our deposit when we find out that we were owing the property because of our lease was automatically renewed. We moved out from the property not because of we wanted greener pastures we move because of affordability while we were expecting our deposit back they tell us we still owes them on top of that deposit we expecting and again we find out that the parking was't cancelled. The deposit for the parking would be forfeited again.
