Lack of Backup Power Ruined the Experience (The Brooklyn)
I having a disappointing experience during my stay. The property does not provide backup power for the rooms during electricity outages, which is a major inconvenience. While the lifts and walkways remain powered, guests are left without electricity in their rooms, which affects comfort and basic needs. What’s even more frustrating is that there is no compensation offered for food that spoils due to these outages. This shows a lack of consideration for guests, especially when such situations are beyond our control. I strongly recommend that management improve their backup power solutions for rooms and implement fair policies to compensate guests when outages cause losses. Until then, I would not recommend staying here.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We acknowledge that the absence of electricity in residential units during outages can be frustrating.
Power outages are external events outside the landlord’s control and limited backup power is in place to ensure safety in common areas. We rely on Council to resolve issues affecting power supply. Your comments regarding backup power solutions have been noted and will be shared with management for consideration as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the living experience for our residents. The matter has been reported to your Property Manager to elaborate on losses.
Kind regards,
