******* EVICTION PROCESS

In February, City property decided they wanted to terminate my lease. In the notice, which I refused to sign as it contained ******* clauses, they threatened to lock my flat on 31 March 2015 should we not have moved out. Since when has a notice of termination been an eviction order from the court? Last night, Zoliswa, the building manager, came to inform my partner that she will be locking us out of our flat at 12H00. When she was asked about the court document, she did not have a clue. I have left my two children aged 18 months and 6 years in my flat today with their nanny. Should my children be traumatized unnecessarily by City Property taking the law into their own hands and attempting to bar them entry to the flat, I will certainly seek legal recourse and involve the police. It seems that this property group has absolutely no regard for the Rental Housing Act as well as the constitution. They prey on tenants that are not aware of their rights and use threats to get their way. I would like to expose their ******* practices to the public. I will not be vacating my unit until they serve me with an eviction order from the court!
