****************

Having stayed and enjoyed my time at City Property-CPA Place for two years, it was time for me to move on.
I duly set the wheel on motion and notified them of my intentions accordingly. I moved out on the 31st January 2015. The building manager was there to inspect the place on the last day. After the inspection she was happy with the state of the apartment barring a chipped piece of concrete on the window (no more than an inch). I reluctantly agreed that R500.00 would be taken out of my deposit. On 13 March 2015 I received an sms informing me to come and collect my deposit. I almost fell on my back when I discovered that it was about 40% of my original deposit. What was the reason for this? Repairs I was told. I asked for the invoices and they were never produced, which was besides the point anyway, I'm still waiting. This seems like bullying the little guy because he can't do anything about it. I am deeply disappointed by this conduct.
Unit 311, CPA Place, 19 Loveday Street
