Consultants giving irrelevant information

I am currently under a leasing contract with City Property and our contract started on 01 Feb2015.By the end of Feb2015 we went to the to request for our invoice and we received it stating the amount we were supposed to pay. The day after we got the invoice I called the customer service to confirm if the amount stated in our invoice was relevant and I remember speaking to Ntando who transferred me to a consultant( I cant remember the name) who then confirmed that the amount was correct and that it would be for the month of March 2015.We paid the money on Saturday, today to my surprise we receive a message that our contract is in arrears with amount more that what was confirmed to me when I called. I just called customer service and I spoke with Reneilwe and Caroline, they promised to transfer my call to somebody who will assist me with finding the person who gave me wrong information last week but my call got straight to the persons answering machine.

I am not happy with the service I have been given and would like to know why I was given wrong information by your consultants and to listen to the recording of the call I made last week where somebody confirmed the amount to me.

Hello jayjawe,

This was a major communication misunderstanding. The person you spoke to, did not give you incorrect information, as per the account there was a payment made, and the amount they gave you was, at that stage, the outstanding amount. Only when the payment received, which was not your payment, was reversed, did your account reflect the correct outstanding amount.
