Broken Logic
<p>I am an existing tenant to one of the city property building, and my room is noisy as hell and i managed to get a quiet room in the other bulding and then i asked to be transfared to that quiet room, to my shock i was transfared to a leasing "manager" who gave me a most pathetic reason of not allowing me to move from city property to another city property which was " why am i only complaining about the noise only now? and then he continued saying i must wait for my contract to end then i can apply for the next contract"</p> <p> </p> <p>Please City property stake holders, put people that deserves to be in a managerial position, people who can reason not this....</p> <p> </p> <p>i just need to be transfared , i am not cancelling my contract and there is an available space on the other building, is that TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR??? OR DOES THIS NEEDS A GENIUS TO UNDERSTAND?</p>

City Property manages property for different Landlords. When you request to be transferred from one City Property managed building to another it does not mean that it is owned by the same Landlord. We need permission from the Landlord to move tenants between buildings.
The other reason for not moving you is that you are currently in a lease agreement which only expires at the end of November 2016. The Manager who assisted you most probably explained to you that if you move to another property owned by another Landlord you will be held liable for a cancellation fee as you are in breach of your lease agreement. To verify this you can refer to clauses 4 and 19 of your lease agreement. The lease agreement you signed is not with City Property, but with the Landlord of the building.
We can assist you to move to a different unit in the same building or a building owned by the same Landlord without any penalty incurred. We will contact you by close of business on 07/09/2016 with details on how we can assist.
