Bad Service

I am really disappointed with the kind of service received from City Property. I have been dealing with Nompumelelo Ntsoane with my rental application. I assumed the application ran smoothly and was actually happy until a nightmare commenced on Monday at Russell's place. My worry is I was at CPA House on Saturday to sign my documents and went to the Parking services to enquire, the response I received is talk to your Care Taker. The rental documents states that parking is subject to availability and will be on the waiting list. It does not mention any cost liable to the tenant for parking. I moved in on Saturday and did not encounter any challenges. The care taker briefly said we must apply for parking when I come back and since nothing was not mentioned to me about fees, I thought maybe is just for allocation. I went back home on Saturday and came back Sunday night parked smoothly without any hustle. Monday night when I came back from work I literally stood at the gate for 10 minutes buzzing to no answer and the security guard just came outside looked at me and went back inside the building. I then called the Care Taker who opened for me. Shockingly immediately as I entered the yard the Security Guard comes to me with words like HOW CAN I HELP YOU. I was so shocked and surprised and asked what do you mean? He repeated and I then said I stay here and he told me that there is no parking. I then got so scared as I don't know whats going on and asked so where am I supposed to park then? Fortunately the Care Taker came to my rescue and asked me to come with him to the City Place to sort out parking remember I don't know anything about this parking thing. I followed him and when we got there I am being told about Karabo and City Property the language was so confusing for me as I actually couldn't understand what is required of me. I am thinking I am supposed to get parking and now I hear about fees that I am supposed to pay and being asked how much do I have like that was depressing having to think that I only moved in on Saturday on an empty mind thinking I have sorted out the deposit, administration fee and rental now I get introduced to parking which for me I feel like it should have been communicated properly so I can manage my budget accordingly. Yesterday I then received a call from Zweli who confirmed that Nompumelelo is the one at fault now she is costing me a lot as I had to pay R50 last night and tonight I am required to pay R1042.00 so I can park my car for the whole month. This is really heartbreaking and don't know how I am going to handle this as that money was not even mentioned on the contract and which is not fair for us. I hope City Property will be able to come up with a solution. I am really frustrated. I sent this email this morning and received a call from a lady who sounded so eager to assist but unfortunately she called me twice and now i am on my own. Another email to them .

As per conversation you had with Margaret earlier today please contact Karabo Parking Management for assistance or can send them an email for your query.

thank you

Original Message:
From: ********** />Sent: 08 February 2017 04:06:09 PM
To: ********** />Subject: Fwd: Parking

Good day,

Does this mean my matter couldn't be resolved? I am on my own, yet I am not the one at fault? Its 16h00 have to go to the flat to get a nightmare.

I am really frustrated as now i have to go around asking for money so my car can be safe yet the process was not discussed with me properly. I really dont like the way they treat people. it is really unfair and put us in an awkward position. The is no other way as the money that i had was for petrol now i have to take it all and pay for parking and then what? Its really heartbreaking.
