urgent

was having serious electricity problems at home, and everyone gets shocked when they touchd the taps. called an electrician who told us its not the house, but a fault with the neutral on the pole outside. he informed us that this is extremely dangerous and called JHB city power to have it urgently repaired as the house was rec. almost 300v of electricity instead of 220v. We called the city of jhb at 10am and someone was supposed to be sent to us with in the hour. I called back at 1pm and was told the fault was not logged and no one was allocated yet. this is a dangerous and serious matter yet no one is looking into it? why do I need to complain to have it fixed?
