Something Smells Rotten at City Power.
After having proved that the current transformer ratio was incorrect on the incoming 3-phase meter, and that we (Our block of flats) were being overcharged for over 30 years for electricity, I have been trying to get an adjustment to our account done via City Power and the COJ. We can only claim for up to 3 years' overbilling which comes to around R300K. City Power don't seem willing, or able to truly resolve my case and have no institutional memory as I explain the whole story over and over to the call centre only to have my call closed with no courtesy call or good explanation. It looks to me like an organised crime network that's been run by Mr Mongezi Ntsokolo. When I try to escalate, or speak to a superior no-one is available, or they find some way to deny me and get rid of me. Customer service is an unknown concept here apparently. I'm not giving up though. Something smells very rotten at City Power and I want to know why.
No-one answers the phone between 12:00 and 14:00 either.
