Power Outage for 12 hours, stating non-existent 'riots' for non-existant service delivery

As a home in Rabie Ridge Ext 2 that pays for it's electricity, we have been without power for over 12 hours. When the complaint is lodged, we are told it's cancelled due to 'riots'. I've logged it 4 times. The 'riots' are happening in an adjacent township, so far away that we are completely unaware of it. It's like calling Kyalami, Woodmead. There is not a sound, site or hint of it anywhere near us. Furthermore, the township where riots are happening is classified under Ekhurhuleni whereas we are under Midrand! Johannesburg. This CANNOT be the status quo: where areas are lumped together in ignorance. Residents in Kyalami would not accept inconvenience because of unrest in Woodmead, why should a neighbourhood of hard-working but low-income housing be expected to settle for such disrespect and bad service delivery? Or is Classism still influential in 'service' delivery post-94?
