power outage due to constant cable the

Consistant power outages as a result of cable theft is what has now seemingly become a norm in Klipspruit West Soweto since 2009, in this week alone we've had two such instances power goes of for 24hours upon which it is fixed but no one has come out to explain to the community what the problem is & if there's a way forward. We've had 2deaths in our area as a result of this issue the most recent being on the 02-11-2015 as a result of cable theft which occurred on the 01-11-2015.CPWEB876568 Reference after call logged. Does City Power want an entire community to die before they take this matter seriously ? Our electrical appliances are being damaged , can someone give us answers
