Installation of Hexing Meters- Uncommunicated and Faulty

This installation of Hexing meters is an annoying and ridiculous exercise. We are paying so much for electricity and no one at City seems to care. what is the possibility of a person staying alone consume R250 worth of electricity within 4 days? When logging a call to have the meter checked, we are advised to go to the walk in center to have the meter checked at a fee. How the hell is city power charging us to have a look at the meters they decided to install without prior notice? what kind of a system is this?
