I accidentally bought electricity for a wrong meter number

I accidentally bought electricity for a wrong meter number. Where l previously used to stay. I called call center was told to go to the walk in center in Booysens to get it reversed. To get there they say l must tell the other party to pay me for the electricity. If that was possible would l have bothered to go through all this trouble.
