Exposed power box may kill school kids

The residential powerbox which is responsible for supplying electricity to the complex in which I live and the surrounding houses malfunctioned the morning of the 25th of June. The box has been smoking, sparking and is left open to atmospheric conditions such as the mist in the early part of the morning, I fear, the rain in the case that this condition occurs. The malfunction of the box has left residents with no electricity for approximately two days, consumable goods are beginning to lose their integrity whilst maintaining daily activities such as showering before work in the morning becomes difficult,especially since water temperatures are near freezing in the early parts of the morning.<br> Most importantly, the exposed power box is near the roadside which school kids pass everyday to attend school,then again, to return home. The box is highly volatile and extremely dangerous,my worst fear is that an inquisitive kid may end up dead due to city power's negligence,after several reports have been filed.The positioning of a drain pipe from a household is situated next to the exposed box,water is released from this pipe in volumes,which makes this issue even more dangerous and volatile.
