Council contractors who weld security to big electric sub station DO NOT KNOW how to weld

Hello, someone alerted me to the fact that “it seems the Council contractors are welding security on our big electric sub station by the guard house????”

When I started walking to the sub station is was too late as they were driving away. According to Cyprian (the security guard) these contractors did welding work “to prevent ******* frtom *****ing electric components”.

Have a look at the photos. Bad, bad welding job! any kid can easily remove the welding and open the sub station.

And this is how City Power and other government departments in Johannesburg now operate. They give work to “Contractors” who do not know what they are doing. The Buyers in most cases (there are notable exceptions!) are not qualified to be Buyers. The Managers who appoint these Buyers should have not been Managers in the first place… Glad they did not blow the sub station up.

How ***, these are the people who “provide services” to the City of Johannesburg.
