CITY POWER FAILING US AS ALWAYS

The worst most inaffective and pathetic servive ever. The street distubition box at the corner of our street has burned down "due to a possible short" and the guys came out yesterday morning. They starting at about 8am and dug a huge hole and exposed the cables.

I asked the technicians how bad it is and how long they think it might take to fix the connection. I was told it's about a full days job, but definitely not 2 day. They will definitely finish it by the afternoon/evening and we can be assured to have ppower in our street that very same day, which was yesterday.

They got into their truck and left at 11am yesterday morning leaving that hole just like that open with all the cables exposed and never came back to finish the job. So we are without electricity from 6am yeasterday morning and it's been more than 30 hours now and still nothing is happening.

HOW BAD CAN YOU BE AT YOUR JOB?

When there are other people who would do anything to have a job and they will do efficient work and ensure it's done properly, you get people like this. Government employees always seem to do things according to how THEY want it done and not to serve the customer/people who makes sure they get a dam salary because we have to pay rates and taxes.

This country is messed up completely when it comes to service for the people and will always stay a 3rd world country..
