City power 😡

I've had it with city power and making us fools. We haven't had electricity for close to 2 weeks now, one of my neighbors went and logged a call on the 12th of Jan then they said they'd send people to come and check it out. I called on the 16th to follow up and they said according to them the job had been completed and we still had no electricity, the lady I was speaking to made me hold for 30 good minutes saying she's going to give me a new reference number, I called again and the lady I spoke to said she sent the new reference number to my neighbor. I got home and to our surprise there was no reference. I then called them on the 17th of Jan and finally got a reference number in less than 10 minutes. Yesterday was the 20th and only then was the job assigned to a technician, this morning when I woke up the job card had been closed saying it was resolved as if that was enough the lady who answered the phone when I called put me on hold for so long and when I tried to call again they're no longer answering my calls. They are able to cook and feed their families and we're not supposed to? Takeaways are expensive. Where are we supposed to get money to buy them every day and the whole day? They're obviously not interested in fixing our electricity. I just feel like most of the staff doesn't care about people and think it's okay to operate on giving people false hope and not actually do their job!
