Can't Purchase prepaid electricity

I have had the same meter number for years. Yesterday, I was informed when I tried to buy prepaid electricity that my meter number is invalid. When I called the City of Johannesburg to inquire, the agent Rebecca told me that she cant help me and I must call today. Numerous call and tweets today and no help. City Power calls don't get transferred, and City of JHB cant take calls due to technical issues. I am furious.
