4 Days without power for an issue tht has been ongoing since November 2023

In November 2023, my electricity supply tripped, prompting City Power to send technicians to investigate. They identified a fault in the underground wiring and provided a temporary fix to restore power, assuring me that they would return for a permanent solution. Unfortunately, despite my repeated inquiries, they never returned. Recently, on September 21, 2024, the temporary fix failed, resulting in significant smoke and loss of power to my home. City Power dispatched technicians the following day, who app**** yet another temporary fix by insulating the damaged wires. They informed me that a contractor would be required for a permanent repair. However, after just a week, the situation deteriorated again, and on October 4, the wires were sparking dangerously, prompting us to take emergency measures to prevent a fire, so much so that we had to throw sand on the burning sparking wires. City Power technicians arrived on October 6, but they stated they lacked the necessary tools to perform repairs and could not purchase equipment due to their depot being closed. Mind you they are driving around with the city power car with their child in the car. They also said that they wont be spending money out of their pockets to buy the equipment to fix the issue. The situation remains critical, with continued sparking and smoke, posing a significant safety risk to my household and neighbors. Additionally, I have been without power for four days, resulting in food spoilage and considerable distress. Despite my ongoing communication with City Power, I have only received feedback that my calls have been escalated without any follow-up or action taken. I have documented video evidence of the smoke from the burning wires, but it appears that these concerns are not being adequately addressed. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in bringing this story to light, as my local ward councillors have also escalated the issue without resolution.
