Water Interruption

In June 2015 the municipality estimated my water and electricity bill. My average monthly billing is approximately R2500. Due to the estimation, for June my account was R4000 plus. In July they estimated electricity bill and they reduced my water as they have overcharged me. They still overcharged my electricity. My due date to pay my July account was 20 August 2015. Of which I paid it on the 20th. on the 19th they cut water supply at my place without giving me any notice. Firstly I thought Rand Water strike is affecting our area. in terms of PAJA they should give me a notice before cutting the services. I later learned that they have cut my water because they say I owe R800 which is not even overdue by 30 days. I sent a complain to the municipality on the 20th and they never responded. The municipality has a tendency of targeting paying household when they run short of cash. they estimate the accounts and increase the figures. I know that once they check my electricity readings, they will see that they owe me more than the R800 they say I owe them. I cannot even send them my readings because the lock the electricity meter. City of Tshwane is the worst managed municipality ever.
