******* at Tshwane offices

I bought a house in PTA north 3 years ago , when I went to change the house's rates & taxes in to my name they failed to do so more than 5 times until I got it sorted this year and we have been getting the bill under the constructors name and we made sure it's paid . Now that finally someone has done their job and transferred the account into our name they claim that We are owing the municipality more than R 10 000,even though we were paying the rates on the previous owners name. Funny they are even quick to take the funds out of our account saying We should produce proof of payment whereas the house is not owing ,because we made sure we pay because it's our house. Someone is trying to act dumb so to frustrate us just to cash in our money. How can someone pay for rates and taxes of a house they do not own for 3 years. this is just not fair , because if we had occupied the property and not pay rates because it was never on our names.they were still going to claim money from us saying the stand owes , now since we didn't act ********ly, a government official want to **** us.****we have proof of last payment we made
