Rates due but prepaid Electricity cut off

In the month of August I owed the City Of Tshwane R353.36 for property rates, well in the past if my rates were due, because I use prepaid electricity I wont be able to buy my electricity, then the money I use to buy electricity will be used to settle the balance due for the rates then ill be able to buy electricity.<br> Well on the 13th of August, my electricity was completely cut off while I owed R353.36 which was due on the 18 August 2015. Well I went to their offices to settle the balance, I even paid R500 to that effect.<br> They took 7 days to come and reconnect the electricity. That's fine, it has happened and there is nothing I can do about it now.<br> My issue is that since I paid R500 on the 14th of August, my account was supposed to be issued for R98 plus the monthly R244 for my rates, well to my surprise I got a bill of R1233,i have been trying to figure out what that is to no satisfaction. it just says R890.91 financial Adjustments and then my normal rates for the month.<br> I don't know how many times I sent emails, phone calls and two visits to the offices but it hasn't been resolved.<br> Im tired of this issue, I don't want my electricity to be cut again. Pls fix it Tshwane.
