R300 Bribe demanded by City of tshwane employees from tenants,claiming electricity not paid

<p>I had City of Tshwane people coming to switch off elactricity at our house in Pretoria where we have tenants living there. I have been making payments on monthly basis and have not skipped a single month. I have made a payiment of R1800 on the 27th of March and we also presented the payment to the guys who came to switch off they said it is not valid therefore they will switch off or else my tenants must give them R300 they also threatened to remove ty he entire cable which will take time for them to replace. I am so tired of living in a country where there is no humanity and people must just bribe even if its unnecessary. My tenants gave them the money because they have a small child in the house. I feel like we are being taken advantage off and a community and being highly oppressed by our own people</p>
