Power outage Wapadrand Substation Pretoria

It with utter disgust that the City of Tshwane Metro, treats there people with absolute disrespect with regards to the Wapadrand Substation power issues. It was announced by Phillip Nel that power will start being switched on as from 16h00 on Friday 23 July 2021... At this time of me posting this msg... 20h16 power has not been switched or neither has any official stepped up to update anyone of the public as to why the massive delay... The entire week there was reasoning and time line that the MMC came out and advised, the people accepted the reasoning.. Then there was a date and time given as to when switch on and energizing will happen, guess what to all surprise this did not happen... Expectations created people thought they will see light at the end of this dark road only to be disappointed to still be in darkness on the coldest days of the year after 10 years apparently... Is this service delivery....? Makes one think... Why would Phillip Nel be silent at the time when the people will want to hear from him???

I guess we will never know? Or will the people be strung with more hopes and no delivery BS...

People affected by this outage, take it up and question the fact if you cant rely in the people that has promised to help u... What should one do... You have a problem, fix it by removing the problem...
