Pathetic is not a strong enough word

I have a property that I used to rent out and has been standing empty for 1 year, during which period I continue to get bills for electricity ranging between R1000 and R1500 per month!<br> <br> I've been to Tshwane, I've phoned, I've emailed, I've sms'ed, I've even spoken to Tshwane workers busy taking meter readings on the side of the road to request that they come out, actually DO THEIR WORK, and take a meter reading - ALL TO NO AVAIL!<br> <br> I note that they're one of those companies that don't respond - big surprise! <br> <br> This property has recently been sold and the time is looming when the new owner is going to want to put the electricity in his name and he won't be able to, however, I refuse to pay the bill which is now in excess of R8000. Moreover, I'm still struggling to get another R3500 out of them that they wrongly allocated to a non-existent account which isn't even mine!<br> <br> Total incompetence - welcome to the new SA!<br> <br>
