overcharged

I have been paying my monthly bills since 2010 and I received a bill from municipality that I owe R3,311.67 for July only I was billed 1,723.59 for water, R937.02 for sanitation, R278.58 for property rates when I went there to enquire I was told that I must just make arrangements and pay or they will cut off the services.I stay alone I don't have kids I'm hardly home please help me to get that mistake to be corrected<br> <br>
