municipal account query

My account *** has been charged more R8000 in one month and the water in my yard has been cut/ reduced so bad that I am surprised as to how can a water cost R4000 in a month. on the 3rd I have received a statement with an amount 0f R31 215.54, on the 13 August there was a statement for R33 808.78 and today the 23rd August the statement is RR39 506.18. i need your help as previously like around 2018 I found out that the municipality was charging me based on the previous meter that was replaced almost 2 years back then and I complained and they reduced my account by almost R12000 however it did not make a difference as it had incurred interests of more than R18000. I need Hello Peter to assist me for municipality to correct my account and advise why are they charging water for this much
