Account nr. ********** 178. I decided to sell my property in Pretoria after 38 years. To close my account I paid a amount in advance to cover the rates and taxes. The property was registerd on 24 August 2018 in the name of the new owner. From then on it was a struggle with the municipality to communicate the amount payable to me, because I paid an amount much more than the rates and taxes I owed.
