Where do I begin. Monday 13th Feb our power did not come back on after the 2am load shedding schedule. So we open a reference with the municipal at 7am only for them to tell us it’s an area outage. We tell them our power is off and our neighbours all have power. They then tell us they will “escalate” it. We follow up the next day Tuesday for them to tell us that it’s an area outage again. So we get the idea here nobody is going to help us. We see the clear obvious fault at the box outside the supply cable to our house is damaged so we tell them this. Thursdays eventually a guy comes fixes the burnt breaker outside the box but our breaker still trips. So the guy tells us it’s a cable fault and drives off. Friday comes we follow up with them they tell us that our reference is closed as our power is restored. But our power is still off and we have a faulty supply cable. Apparently the technician came flipped out breaker on outside drove off before we could stop him and he told the municipal that our power was restored and we agreed to it. Fantastic service I can’t even believe how **** these technicians work. *********** lazy municipal. We are still off and now have to start the whole process over.
