HIJACKINGS, ******IES & MUGGINGS OF STUDENT NURSES

Anxiety is what I am currently going through... And the feeling is inexplicable.

In the past 10 weeks to date we have been experiencing hijackings, ******ies and muggings in front of the school premises (SG Lourens Nursing College) on Cnr Soutpansberg Road and Dr. Savage Road, prinshof, Pretoria, 0001

As the SG Lourens Nursing College residents, We recently made a request for street lights to be installed on the schools pavement for our own safety and wellbeing, but nothing has been done.

With the kidnapping cases on the rise we are forever living in fear... coming back from practicals when it is dark puts us (females) more at risk of these dangers and with the level of GBV rising.... our only request is for the municipality to install street lights in front of the school premises. We also request that the @SAPS around the prinshof area DELEGATE A PATROL TEAM on Dr. Savage Road for our own safety when we return from practicals... As health care workers We believe the least we deserve is our safety being put first in order for us to provide complete nursing care to our patients.
