DEPT. OF LICENSING - RENEWAL OF DRIVERS LICENSE Good day, My renewal of my drivers license is outstanding since May 2018 I have to phone numerous times and pay visits to the Akasia Branch where I app**** - with no success - I always get the same answer that they had a strike and that there is a huge back log. Every time I phone I must hold on for 15 - 20 min to speak to an operator and most times get of. Last week I phoned in once agin they told me that their system is not updated and the last entry on my ID nr was during May and that I should visit the Akasia Office again. After I stood in the long line i was told the system is down and they cannot tell me if it is ready ? This is unacceptable and can someone please assist me with an answer.
