Deposit Refund

I sold my house last year and the transfer completed on the 28th of Jan 2015. <br> Tshwane received the application for refund of assessment rates and change of ownership by the transfer attorney in January and again after no refund was received after 6 months..<br> <br> The account was paid in advance approximately R5,000 in December.<br> <br> I have been phoning the city of Tshwane on a monthly basis and either the phone just rings or they say that they will sort out the issue.They have also said that I should come in person but when I explain that I am currently living in cape town they say that if I want the money I should pay for a plane ticket to come sort it out.<br> <br> It has been a year since I sold my property so surely that is enough time to process a refund??<br> <br> Please contact me to sort out the issue as you have received all of the relevant documents<br> <br>
