Constant water and power outages in LAUDIUM, CENTURION!!! Shocking service delivery!!!

I write this review in shear and utter frustration!!

Words cannot describe my unhappiness with the pathetic state of municipal services rendered to my area/home (Laudium, Centurion, 0037)

In the past month alone, we have had 10+ power outages, and more recently, there have been at least one prolonged water outage, every single week, for the past four weeks!!! WTH!!!

As a graduate technical professional, I cannot understand how ‘so called’ highly professional outsourced engineers/electrician/plumbers, employed by the City of Tshwane, can get things this wrong (so often)??? It boggles the mind!!

They send out communications (through CLLRS) claiming that they are doing “UPGRADES” to our outdated/old water supply infrastructure; but ever since these “UPGRADES”, we have been experiencing WEEKLY water outages!!! 4 weeks later, and here we sit without water (again) - a basic SERVICE that we pay diligently for, every single month!! Shocking customer service! Disastrous communication! And the list goes on…

A simple question? Why don’t affluent areas - just a few km’s from Laudium, experience these very same ‘never-ending’ power/water outages?

Seems that some people/areas are more ‘equal’ than others!!

COT and Cllrs, please get your act together!! We the RESIDENTS OF TSHWANE, demand improved service delivery!!! Please hire COMPETENT professionals that have the experience and knowledges to complete these basic jobs/repairs!!!
