Brilliant Customer Service

I bought a house in Pretoria North and went to the municipal offices in Akasia to register for rates and taxes. The treatment was horrible, I was sent from pillar to post and they requested a Deed search which didn't make sense to me. I left without getting any help. <br> <br> My colleagues referred me to 373 Pretorius Street in town. I went with the same documents, was registered and my rates re-calculated as per my occupational date. I did not expect to find such an efficient and friendly service. I think credit should be given where it is due and I must say the staff at these offices are the friendliest I have ever dealt with. I spent less than an hour and everyone I was directed to, was helpful.<br> <br> I still smile today when I think of the experience I had with this office and wish all municipal offices could offer the same service. Hopefully the Akasia office will change one day
