Billing property seller, not new owners

We transferred a property to a new owner and the attorney duly informed the City of Tshwane of the Transfer date (February 2013) and the new owners^detail. However we, the previous owners, still receive the monthly rates and taxes account two years on, now almost R6000. Several notifications were sent both by us and our attorneys to no avail. <br> The only response from the Tshwane Customer Care centre on 19 May 2014 was that we should present ourselves to a walk-in centre: not easy seeing we had moved to Europe. We rep**** on the same day, requesting an alternative option, but receive no replies since.<br> Please we would like to end this fiasco asap!
