Tlhaedi you are a star!!!

Yesterday I went to City of Joburg municipality offices (Thuso House) in Braamfontein to enquire about my statement which was showing a negative balance. I just want to thank a gentlemen named Tlhaedi who thoroughly explained what the amount meant. In summary it turned out that CoJ was billing me more than they should because they were using "vacant" rates instead of "residential"rates (even though I submitted certificate of occupancy last year). Apparently "vacant" rates are more expensive than "residential" rates. For "residential" rates the consumer may receive rebates based on the value of their house. So for the few coming months CoJ will be deducting monthly rates from my account as it has credit.

I had to go Braamfontein because the consultant who was helping me over the phone could not explain in detail what the negative balance meant. Tlhaedi did a sterling job and I told him he must keep the good work up!!!
