The Difference is in the Service! COJ vs SARS

I am in the process of transferring property and needed a certificate of compliance from two organisations, City of Johannesburg and SARS! Due to lockdown, both organisations stated that there was a backlog but both endeavoured to respond as soon as possible. COJ went ahead and committed to resolve the issue within a given time, whereas SARS did not respond nor did they give anytime. This was at the beginning of September 2020. As per commitment, COJ met their commitment. Thank your COJ. However, SARS have not responded and this is now almost 2 months later. Not only did they not commit to a time, they have been silent! And they are holding back the entire sale of the property!
