Still waiting for my rates to be refunded

House transferred September 2014. In spite of several visits to the Randburg branch, the first of which I had all the documentation scanned in on site, and numerous emails (*when they still had a valid email address) I await my rates refund.<br> <br> *The email address bounces back as invalid - this is the address actually printed on their invoice, go figure!!<br> <br> That's 9 months I've been waiting. I reckon they've spent the money, so what I've decided to do is stop paying rates on my current home until it balances up with what I'm owed, then at least I'm no longer out of pocket because of their ineptitude or thievery.<br> <br> Or maybe someone who can read and write is still in council and sees this? Hahahaha. Fat chance. Useless, absolutely useless.<br>
