Pathtic service

<p>My grandmother is a 91 year old widdow and only receives a pension fund every month. She had received a letter that she is in arrears with her water and electricity bill for the amount of R7500??? My father is also a pensioner also with no other means of income. I myself am unemployed for the last 2 years and am battling to find a job. So my father is trying to assist her where he can.</p> <p> </p> <p>My father went t Joburg Municipality on Friday 11 May to go and see the legal department for assistance. He had an affidavid to explain that they are not able to pay this amount as they are both pensioners. He spoke to Elvis who advised that he had to pay a deposit of R800 before he can make any further arrangements? My father had to borrow money from 3 different people to pay this amount, and is not sure how he will ever pay them back. Nevertheless the payment was made yesterday and emailed to Elvis, who gave is his email address and contact numbers.</p> <p> </p> <p>I myself sent the email attaching the payment and sent it off asking him to confirm if it had been received. No answer.</p> <p> </p> <p>My father had been frantically calling since yesterday to make the final arrangemrnts, but either the phone just rings or they cut you off. Even today no one is answering that phone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had also sent two emails to Elvis advising that bo one is answering, but to no avail. What do we do when my grandmother's electricity is cut off????</p> <p> </p> <p>Please can someone assist</p>
