Irresponsiveness of CoJ to our urgent pleas

I would like to raise a serious concern regarding the City of Johannesburg’s lack of response to my emails and their refusal to correct or re-evaluate the property value estimate linked to my account.

Despite several attempts to contact the City via email, I have received no acknowledgment or feedback. The current valuation of my property is incorrect and results in unfair billing. I have requested a re-evaluation so that the charges can reflect the real market value of the property, but my concerns have been ignored.

It is unacceptable that residents are being overcharged due to inaccurate estimates and are left without assistance or communication. I am requesting that the City of Johannesburg:

1. Urgently review and respond to all outstanding emails regarding this matter. 2. Re-evaluate the property to ensure the correct and fair market value is app****. 3. Provide clear feedback and resolution timelines.

Residents deserve transparency, fairness, and proper service from the municipality.
