Impossibly high water charge (R251K) suddenly in added to my account.

Impossibly high water charge suddenly in added to my account.

On 16-09 I received an SMS indicating that my Joburg bill balance was suddenly R251 952.

When I checked, I found that my statement for April included a new water charge for R226 790. This was for some correction for the last 454 days according to the statement.

My usual bill is about R4 000 per month.

The water meter outside my house was replaced about 2 years ago. I'm not sure if that is related to this.

Please advise what my options are with regards to having this corrected/reversed.
