We, the residents of Floreston Road, Mondeor, have been without power since 24th Mar 2026 at midnight (7 days and counting). Despite numerous calls, no technicians have been assigned, and the console staff seem to have given up answering calls.
This is unacceptable. Our area is unsafe due to manual gates and non-functional alarms. Perishable food is spoiled, and families with small kids and elderly parents are suffering. We're unable to work, knowing our loved ones aren't safe.
Our councillor, Stuart, is aware (+***2). Multiple calls to City Power have yielded nothing but open reference numbers.
What's the point of a service if not to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens?
Demand action:
- Assign technicians to restore power ASAP
- Address console staff responsiveness
- Provide updates on resolution progress
