Correct and fair bills from the City Of Johannesburg Municipality

Valuation Appeal Board Since 01 July 2023 the property value of our property has been increased by 20% - completely out of proportion to the past & current property market.

Since 01 July 2023 we are paying the additional rates & taxes - by the end of this month this amounts to approx 10.000 ZAR.

We did object to the valuation dated 01 July 2023 and when I spoke to the staff at the Valuation Office in 66 Jorrisen Street, Braamfontein (Tel: *** or ***) they informed us that the Valuation Appeal Board would start on 01 April 2024 to contact the respective owners who had objected.

So far we have not been contacted by anyone from the Valuation Appeal Board.

If the City Of Johannesburg Municipality requests the residents to pay their municipal account in full and on time to ensure the City continues delivering services to residents they need to issue correct and fair bills !!!
