CoJ - Wake up to your responsibility

If it was available; I would have selected 'zero' or '-5". CoJ is only interested in collecting money for services not rendered every month. We receive ridiculous bill every month for poor service. In Roodepoort/Weltervreden Area, Radiokop, Allen's Nek and surroundings; ******* bins have not been emptied for more than 11 days. The whole area is now littered with *******. We have called all the numbers, particularly ***, it's permanently on a voice note; saying due to Covid; you can only reach them on alternative medium; the internet. They are not picking their calls. Is this service delivery? We are being charged for this service; it is not free. The least you can do is to pick your calls and let us know what is going on. Stop taking the public for a ride. To make matters worse; we've been receiving some sms in the last couple of days; indicating that you need to take a screen shot of your electricity and water readings and send that to the department for capturing. Is that our responsibility now as well? What are we paying for exactly? You cannot read meters, you cannot collect *******; but we must continue to pay. How ridiculous! Covid- 19 has become a ready excuse for ineptitude.
