COJ RIPPING US OFF
My experience with COJ is at least been a joyride. We complained about our meter being faulty in 2007...... We then received a document to confirm that our meter was faulty and that it would be replaced with a pre-paid meter. I have numerous emails between myself and installation dept with regards to installation which only happened end of November 2017. Yet I was being held liable for a huge bill that was almost R50000. I made arrangements and settled it but then the billing continued throughout until the prepaid was installed. For a house where no one is at home during the day, I don't have a domestic, I have a pool which we only run for an hour over a weekend. My bill was still close to R5000 per month which we later discovered we were being billed on their estimates. I will not be made a fool again and if I need to take this to Carte Blanche I will, My prepaid electricity works out to be R800 - R950 per month........??????? But on my account I am still being billed for estimates as well, they keep telling me to go in, I don't have the time to waste to go and argue with illiterate people that cannot assist with a query I run a huge department and it is impossible for me to take off. My current bill is sitting over R100 000, and I promise you if I need to seek legal assistance I will do so if Herman Mashaba can help I will even try him but COJ is ripping people off is suburbs.......... and I am sick and tired of being the fool to pay every single time they say the word LEGAL!!!!
