City of Johannesburg municipality

Johannesburg is not a place you can call home, you can own a property paid in full in your name but 1 missed payment for municipal levies they disconnect human basic needs. Skipped Oct 2023 and paid the full outstanding balance on the 20 Nov2023 , on the 22nd Nov I get “home” to be greeted by a water disconnection letter no notice nothing. Sent proof of payment and call their so called service line only to be assisted by rude agents who sounds like robots. Lesson people must build in rural areas where the government doesn’t have full control cause South Africa is a sinking ship!!!!!!
