City of Johannesburg hatred of the elderly

My mother is a pensioner and struggling to pay her accounts each month but she still pays every month. This morning They disconnected her water which is a basic resource and by the constitutional court, a living resource and basic water supply is a necessity. My mother could barely walk and went to their offices. She was told that they would reconnect if she could pay R8000. Where will she get that? She gets a pension every month. When she asked the lady who " helped " her if you have any sympathy for the elderly she simply said no I don't care. ***. We went there today to pay R1 500 towards the account. I will make this public to the whole world and I am incommucation now with News24 and Roodepoort Record. This is ridiculous. She made payments of R1 200 to R1 300 every month and no one came to tell her to pay more. She never received any statements not in the post nor by Email This is pathetic.

The person who disconnected the water also left a letter that was supposed to be signed by him and he never even completed it.
